Essex Junction (Amtrak station)

Essex Junction, also known as Essex Junction-Burlington is a train station in Essex Junction, Vermont served by Amtrak, the national railroad passenger system. The station was originally built by the Central Vermont Railway〔(Existing Railroad stations in Chittenden County, Vermont )〕 in 1958.
The station is the closest station to Burlington, Vermont currently served by Amtrak; Burlington Union Station no longer serves passenger trains. Burlington is about a 25-minute bus ride away from the station on the CCTA, the local bus system.
